15 Gb for primary use is enough as excel and word do not eat up much but definitely for heavier storage you may go for in purchase.

At first, I use OneDrive for my professional files only. It has a great interaction with Microsoft Word which, in my opinion, is the best text editor available until now.

“Good way to sync files and use it to share with coworkers”

What do you like best?

It is always good to have a backup of your files and as soon as I hit save if I’m connected to the internet it saves the files to my MacBook and to the company cloud and I can easily share my files later by just going to the web version and assigning permissions to the person I want to share the file and since it is fully integrated with Office I can not forget to save since it autosaves. I have had issues where my computer crashes but the automatic autosave + OneDrive saved all my work and I was able to continue without losing anything.

What do you dislike?

Really good for Office files especially PowerPoints and Words but not great for any other kind of file and assigning permissions is harder than other systems like Box, if I have to share a lot of files I would pick Box unless the files were already on my OneDrive.

If you use Office 365 there is a good reason to use OneDrive it is already included so no reason to skip it.

Sometimes Troubleshooting OneDrive Sync issues become difficult. Unavailability of KB articles addressing the issues. File Recovery articles need to be developed. Less Price Plan availability for end users. Availability of affordable plan to end users. Users with only Microsoft or hotmail or Live account will be able to download the file shared. It provides a very good cloud storage limit at very decent cost.
Microsoft Onedrive has a very cool and easy interface
Also, you can store almost every file type in Onedrive

Generally, you can access one drive using Laptop, Computer, Tablets and even phones

All the files that I need to backup to the cloud are backed up by two ways, either by git for all code and API related or by OneDrive so even if my battery runs out or my laptop crashes everything stays up to date and can be recovered in this or in another device including my tablet or cellphone.

What do you dislike?

The MacOSX UI needs a revamp, everything syncs as expected since all my other Microsoft Applications like Outlook and Excel are logged in and it works correctly but for some weird reason it shows as logging in on the status bar some days and it stays that way until I restart the machine.

I can be sure that at any point of time my data is preserved and is being backed up at each point in time when i am working on my machine.

A major feature is that i can save all the space on my machine by syncing all the files then checking the keep on device button this frees up all my space and i can do whatever i want to do on the machine

Sometimes the loading up of files or the backup can take long times or even result in error this i feel always irritates me.

There have been instances i have pressed save on my excel document but it keeps on waiting and showing a loading icon with contacting to server on top of it many times which is very frustrating because it should not even take one second for such a simple task .Sometimes i have seen errors which requries a restart to fix atleast which is a waste of my time.

It’s not often, but from time to time it happens that my folder just randomly logs out of my Windows system, it might be due to it being inside a VM but a quick restart usually fix the issue so no big deal.

Once I’m done editing a photoshoot, I can upload all the photos on a personal folder online and send a link to my client. From there they can look through them, and either download individual ones or the entire album in a zip folder. This ability saves a lot of time and it can be done multiple times should a client or myself has the need to access them again.

I work with OneDrive very easily in Windows. Its integration with Microsoft Office tools is really attractive. It is great to have the necessary documents on a secure and Windows-based cloud. Of course, I also use Google Drive, and the differences and similarities between the Google and Microsoft ecosystems are interesting to me. Each has its own characteristics.

“All my files in one Convenient Location”

What do you like best?

I like that one drive automatically backs up my files and media that I have stored on my laptop. I use it for work and would have lost many items that were important if not for One Drive.Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that it will occasionally store items that do not pertain to the business where I work and I will have to go through them all and straighten it out so as not to get confused.

I am currently not having any issues with One Drive. I have realized that having it benefits me in many ways. If i have any issues with my device and cannot get to my files, I am able to log into another device and gain access that I need to look over my work files.

What I like best about Microsoft OneDrive is how you can keep your files stored in one place – which means you can access them from multiple devices and you can also easily share them with others. Documents and files uploaded to this cloud can be edited and updated real time. It has many organization features which makes it easy to keep your files in an organized and efficient manner.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing I dislike in particular about Microsoft OneDrive. No complaints!

I have solved multiple problems with Microsoft OneDrive for Business, particularly having a group / team work on an assignment /task without having to email it or sending large files through usb or such methods back and forth in order to get work done. I also think it is really reliable and secure, so it makes it easy for everyone to share. Really, Microsoft OneDrive will without a doubt make your life easier and file sharing easier.

“Good for storing media and files”

What do you like best?

Onedrive helps us to store all our data and files on the cloud and we don’t have to worry about our data getting lost in case our system crashes. Our devices are setup to sync the data automatically on onedrive so you don’t even have to worry about syncing it manually. It is easy to share files with colleagues and you can even share the entire folder in one go. You can access the drive remotely which has been very helpful during the pandemic as some of our co-workers had desktops and couldn’t go to office because of offices being shut without notice so this helped them work from home without missing out on anything as all their data was made easily accessible online on their personal devices.Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The syncing takes a lot of time but it depends on your file size and your internet connection as well. Support is not always available and it takes a while to get response to queries, I suspect most of those resolutions are automated responses or bots replying to queries. Mobile application can be improved as the UI is a bit difficult for use in small devices.

The benefit we have realised is that we do not have to worry about losing our data or our data being corrupted in case our device gets damaged or lost. Another benefit is that we can access our files on multiple devices such as phone, office laptop, personal laptop, etc.

“Cloud storage”

What do you like best?

I like the file synching feature. onedrive can be connected to File explorer location. Once We logged with Microsoft account in my Laptop, All the files created, modified after selecting the folder with drive sync, all the files, directories are syncs easily to OneDrive cloud

Playing the video/image file from OneDrive is little bit slow compared to other drive options.

For Business purposes, it is far better than all other online storage options

For Personal use also. It is good.

Playing the video/image file from OneDrive is little bit slow compared to other drive options. For my personal OneDrive account(which is free), the storage size is less. But Official OneDrive has the large memory size but When I tried to upload a file of size 24GB, its keep on failing to upload to OneDrive.

I found the following benefits:

Easily can share files to teammates/onsite/client instead of pendrive/hdd share
If I want to change my PC with other one, easily can take the backup of present computer’s data and easily setup the new PC
