The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) has praised BUA Cement for its decision to reduce cement prices from N5,200 to N3,500 in the country. REDAN President, Dr. Aliyu Wamakko, stated that this reduction is a welcomed development that is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of many Nigerians.

He noted that high cement and building material costs have been major obstacles in the housing sector, and REDAN and cement dealers are anticipating a quick market price adjustment.

Wamakko emphasized the importance of affordable building materials in providing accessible housing solutions and commended BUA’s CEO, Abdul Samad Rabiu, for the initiative. He also encouraged other industry leaders to follow BUA’s example.
