To share a file using WeTransfer, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Your Browser
Open a internet browser window where the file is stored on the screen. You can use Google chrome or Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer (for example).
Step 2: Go to Wetransfer.com
Go to the address bar and type myrealdata.wetransfer.com and hit Enter
Step 3: Sign Up and Sign In to WeTransfer Account
Register a new account or Sign in to WeTransfer with your email and password.
Step 4: Add Your Files
Click on the Select a Folder (Add Files tab). Locate the file you would like to upload, and then press Open.
Step 5: Enter your Email Address
Click on “Your Email” and add your email address.
Step 6: Click on Transfer
It will upload your file and you will receive an email with a download connection from Wetransfer to download the file.
Step 7: Download your file
Open your email and find the download link.
Step 8: Open Google Chrome
Open your browser and access the server using (Google Chrome).
Step 9: Copy & Paste Your Link
Now, go ahead and Copy the download link from email and paste it in the address bar and hit enter.
Step 10: Download Your File
Click on “Download” to download the file.
Step 11: Click the ‘Display in folder’
Find the downloaded file in the Google Chrome window on the bottom left. Click the downward arrow and click the ‘Display in folder’ tab.
Step 12: Copy & Paste to Folder
Right click file and select copy and paste it to the desired folder.
To upload multiple files on WeTransfer, follow the instructions below:
Step 1:
Create a folder on your computer and rename it (We renamed it to upload).
Step 2 :
Copy and paste all files on this folder.
Step 3:
Next is to locate this folder again and right click on it. Click on Sent to and select Compressed Folder.
Step 4:
This will create a zip folder.
Step 5:
You can upload this folder using the steps 1 to 12.
